Self Isolation Day 18

Finding Activities during Social Distancing

A message from Christopher Briggs, Wealth Advisor and Managing Director on behalf of the Precision Wealth Management Team.

One thing is for certain, the novel COVID-19 has redrafted the way we live for the foreseeable future. There is no more of the hustle and bustle we’ve all become so used to.

No more early morning commute to work, or late nights at the office. No more driving kids to school. No more picking them up and going to the social centre or dance hall for after-school activities. No more weekends heading to the field for soccer, lacrosse, football, or baseball, etc. No longer are we having to sit in the cold ice rink for hours while we watch hockey. No televised live sports, and no pubs or book clubs.

We all miss most of it, I’m sure. If we take one thing away from this isolation period while we do our part to stop the spread, it is that between all these busy times we should slow down and take some breaks here and thereWe should focus on ourselves.

We temporarily closed our doors as of Monday, March 16th, 2020. That’s 18 days of finding different things to do. How amazing does your garden look now? How pristine is the inside of your house (unless you have children living among you)?

Now that we’ve been through the first phase of this isolation, we thought we’d share some interesting activities if you’re finding yourself filled with boredom—see below.

Enjoy, and stay healthy.
